A Long Day of Outside Play!
We had a busy morning, everyone in the co-op came by to pick up their orders. Then Adrienne came over with O to pick up their order and PLAY!

Powell Butte
What a beautiful place. Adrienne and I have agreed to get the babies out in nature more because we are burnt out on the park every single day (and I am very burnt out on music class under fluorescent lighting on beautiful days). Moon and O had so much fun RUNNING all over the place and having snacks. They even dealt with being backpacked in! Next time we are remembering a better hat for Moon and raisins for O.

Happy Mother's Day!!!
For all the mama's in our life, be you Great-Gram', Ma-Maw, Nanny, Grammy, Aunt, Auntie, Friend, or Friender, we are so happy to have you in our life. Each mama we know is a blessing to us and our lives. We appreciate each gift of your personhood that you have shared with us. We have learned about childhood, parenthood, spirituality, love, kindness and so much more from you all. Today we are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate the strength that mama's have to change the world, just by being. Lots of love to you all today.

It's so hard to leave sometimes. I miss spending all of my time with Moon, but don't miss it all at once. I think as a pair, we are happy when I am working 15 hours a week or so (gone no more than 20). More than that and Moon gets really needy and generally unhappy. Not to mention what Patrick thinks! Less than that and I get unhappy and antsy. It's a balancing act, for sure.
