Lanny has really started to grab at things and get upset when they are taken away.

Here, Papa was at work, Mama was making pesto, Lanny was sleeping.

Lanny Sits UP!!!!
As Lan was getting ready for bed Monday night, I noticed that he seemed pretty well balanced when I was going to get his onesie on. I let go and for about 4 minutes or so, sat and leaned forward, then sat back up again. We were convinced he was going to fall over, but it never happened. He eventually started to fuss like he was getting tired. Cute baby boy!

Unfortunately, I didn't get the best before pics, but here are a couple to give you a good idea of the scene (and the ridiculous amount of kid crap we have!). It was BAD.

A bit of water stain still shows through, as does some general wear and tear on the floor, but it's 83 years old, so we forgive it ;)

Papa Mike's House

The kids and I had to get out of town for several days while our livingroom floor was refinished. I will post those pics as well. What a difference. We got to spend lots of time with Papa Mike and Great Grandma and Papa came to visit as well.

This final picture is of Moon swaddling herself, like a baby, of course.

Catching up AGAIN!
I don't know how I get so behind blogging just pictures, but it happens.
I haven't been as excited about updating lately because our camera is not taking pictures so well, since falling into the Moon's hands more often than not...
Or maybe it's just that I am very very tired ;)

Anyhow, here are the girls. They made it into the front yard and I had to chase them around to get them into the backyard.

Lanny-Manny found his feet recently!

And he is teething. He loves chewing on everything, just like a puppy. We have taken to giving him dishtowels, which seem to be a big hit with him.

She's BA-ACK!
Just kidding. Moon spent 2 nights with Nanny and Papou in the wheel house and had so much fun. She didn't want to come home! They went to Mt. St. Helens and did tons of playing outside. Here are some pics of her with the dog, Alice, in the "wheel house".

This one is the best. Sleeping with the dog ;)

It's 10:08 and I have not received a phone call from my sweet Moon, asking to come home.
She's staying her first night away from Mama, camping with Nanny and Papou. It seems like she is growing up so fast. I am so very happy to have this space, yet I miss her so much I want to cry.

The Girls

They are growing up quickly! I try to make sure they spend several hours each day foraging for some nutritious food.
They are crazy for their feed though, and chase me around begging for it!

I didn't manage to get all 5 in a picture at once, but they are all here somewhere!

Bedtime Jams

At bedtime, Moon's recent favorite distraction is to say that she wants to listen to some music with Papa. He would never tell her no, but tonight Papa took it to a whole 'nother level. He let her do her nighttime jam with Papa to the High School Musical 2 soundtrack. Such a sweet sweet papa, wrapped around his little girl's finger!
For the record, Moon used to always go for the drums, but the last week or so has been about the harmonica.
