Lanny Having his First Water.

OK, he was Trying to have some water. Mostly he was letting it pour out of his mouth. But he was happy about it!

And this is big sister, after a HUGE tantrum. Nan and I took Moon on a special trip without baby brother. Moon asked to ride in his seat "like a baby". She put one of his binky's in her mouth and went to sleep. What a sad big sister :( Mostly I think she doesn't want to be jealous of Landon; she seems so in love with him. It is a hard adjustment to not being the baby anymore.

I should have known...

When we nicknamed her "rooster". I googled her and she didn't look like a sexlink rooster, but obviously she isn't a sexlink...or a she.
He will be leaving us today, before the neighbors call the sheriff on us!

Visit to Nan's
Part 1

Moon captures another great one.

Gorgeous view from the front porch. Sunset is amazing, even with the haze from the Mt. Adams fires.

I was hoping it would have gone down more since we are running the dryer one out of every 9 loads or so, but it's also hard to say what is going on in the basement apt, since we didn't ask our renter to change his ways. I think I will take him down a few more fancy lightbulbs....

More Blueberries!

While visiting Nanny and Papou, we made and impromptu stop at a blueberry farm. In about 20 minutes (in 90 degree weather...) I was able to pick 10 pounds of berries! We bought another 20 and used Nan's fancy FoodSavr to package them up for the freezer. That should make it at least 6 months around here. And considering we usually order 5lbs of wild blueberries for $20, this $1.50 a pound deal was amazing!

A Visit from Vonnie and Sean
We have been sooo busy with visitors and fun lately. We are actually visiting Nanny and Papou at thier new house in Yakima, but I have photos from last week I am posting now :)
Moon is such a wild photographer
Vonnie and Sean, fresh from the San Juan's. We were lucky enough to be a stop on their journey through Oregon and got to celebrate a possible wedding in their future!!!! (Tell me if I wasn't supposed to share that Von!) We are so excited for them and love Sean already.

Auntie Joe the Babywearer!
Could these kids look any happier?

What I caught Mooner doing last week...
Let's say that 2 Pints of blueberries is hard on anyone, let alone a 3 year old ;)

Other things that have been going on around here.
I have a big backlog of photos that aren't grouped into anything, but fun to share :)

A night at the park

My midwife held a potluck at Mt.Tabor park, followed by a free concert in the park.
Auntie Joe and Brittany met us there for some fun.

Lunch and shopping with Grandma Lynn and Auntie Joe

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE having Joe here? My heart is full and it is insanely beautiful to watch her love my babies. Insanely. I am feeling lonely at the idea of her leaving already and wish that I got to spend everyday with her. She is my sister and my heart hurts to think of us apart. Yet, to be honest, when I picked her up at the airport it was like yesterday she was in the car with me, driving around and chatting. I think it will always be like that and I am so very grateful for the easiness of us. Getting to spend an afternoon with Grandma Lynn was such a special treat, and honestly felt just like old times as well! Only now there are 2 little kids around to talk about and love on. I am so thankful to have these people in my life who have known me since I was just a few years old. We have all grown together and gone down all of the roads of life TOGETHER. I have not felt alone or misunderstood much in my life. Thank you my sister. I love you so much and hope that soon we will have more time together in this concrete universe ;)
